Once you have your hearing aid, it is important to protect your investment. East Coast Hearing works with all our patients to ensure they are maintaining their hearing aids to optimize performance.

Here are some of the ways we continue to help:
- We teach our patients how to do basic at home hearing aid cleaning (e.g. wiping and brushing) and maintenance (e.g.changing wax guards, domes, and batteries).
- We have our hearing aid patients return to the clinic every 6 months for a routine checkup. This checkup includes earwax removal when required, a thorough cleaning and testing of the hearing aids, routine changing of hearing aid parts (e.g. earmold tubings and receivers/speakers), and hearing aid programming adjustments.
- We offer drop-in service at all of our clinics for hearing aid repairs and supply replenishment (e.g.wax guards and batteries).
- Hearing testing and reprogramming of hearing aids every 1-2 years to provide the best outcome possible.
