Laura MacNeil

Laura MacNeil

Audiologist

Laura was born in Cape Breton and grew up in small-town New Brunswick. Her interests were always varied and she enjoyed learning as much as she could. She studies biology at St. Francis Xavier University and languages at Dalhousie. She returned to Dal to complete her Master of Science in Audiology and has been working in the Halifax area ever since.

Laura loves learning about her clients so she can personalize their experiences and address each client's unique needs. She is currently a member of the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. When she’s not at work, she loves reading, painting and spending time with family and friends-cooking for them every chance she gets.

Clinic Manager

Christine is from Fall River, Nova Scotia. She has studied administration and accounting and is someone who appreciates detail and organization. Christine enjoys working collaboratively to ensure patients have a wonderful experience in our clinics.

Christine is married to Matt, and they have four children: Elijah, Joseph, Sarah, and Oliver. Outside of the hearing clinic, Christine can often be found at the lake in the summer, skiing with her family in the winter, or cheering on one of her kids at the soccer field or volleyball court (year-round!).

Clinic Administrator

Anna, a lifelong Dartmouth resident, has spent over 21 years as an administrator in the audiology field, gaining a wealth of knowledge along the way. She has a passion for helping others and believes that laughter is essential—life is simply too short not to enjoy it.

In her spare time, Anna finds joy in gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and cats, and indulging in a little shopping. She also cherishes quiet moments by the waterfront, sipping tea with her husband, Normand. Family is at the heart of her life, and whenever possible, she and Normand travel to Montreal to visit his loved ones.

Wayne Dorey

Wayne Dorey

Hearing Aid Technician

Wayne was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and has dedicated his life to helping people with hearing loss. With over 45 years in the hearing aid industry, he has developed extensive expertise in the field. He studied electronics at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology and furthered his training in hearing aid technology at the Hearing Society in the United States. He also spent ten years working at APSEA, supporting individuals with hearing challenges.

In his spare time, Wayne enjoys playing guitar with his band, embracing his passion for music.
