Simon Pawlowski
Audiologist
Simon was born in St. Albert, Alberta and lived in many cities across Canada before settling in Nova Scotia to earn his BScH and MSc in Biology at Acadia. He then worked as an entomologist in many labs, forests, and blueberry fields throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario before returning to Dalhousie to complete his second MSc in Audiology. He was recognized at Dal for his academic and clinical skills with several awards including the Killam Predoctoral Scholarship, the Canadian Institute for Health Research Master’s Scholarship, and the Speech & Audiology Canada Research Award. He brings years of scientific experience and a keen interest in the physiology and psychology of hearing to each patient he sees. When not in the clinic, Simon loves to be on stage and has had the fortune to act with and for many wonderful people in theatres all over Canada. After a life on the move, his favourite place is at home with his partner and his cat.
