What Our Patients Are Saying

Highly recommend. I took my 84-year-old mother here, and Keegan was amazing. He was very kind, patient, friendly and professional. He immediately made my mom feel at ease(which is not always easy for her with new people). He solved all of our issues. My mom and I are extremely grateful for your help.

Sheri MacGregor

Sheri MacGregor

Audiologist

I’m so grateful I made the decision to open the doors of Highland Hearing Clinic in 1997. From the beginning, my goal has been to create a welcoming, patient-focused environment where people receive not only exceptional hearing care, but also genuine compassion and support.

One of the things I value most is working alongside such a dedicated and caring team—staff who truly share my passion for providing the best possible hearing care experience for our clients.

It's also incredibly important to me that we remain fully independent. By having access to all hearing aid manufacturers in Canada, we ensure our clients can choose the technology that best suits their unique needs, without limitations.

I love getting to know each of my patients, understanding their individual challenges, and guiding them through their personal journey to better hearing. It’s a privilege to do this work—and I look forward to many more years of helping people reconnect with the sounds that matter most.

I truly love coming to work each day at Highland Hearing Clinic—I never know exactly what the day will bring, and that’s part of what makes it so rewarding. I started as a part-time receptionist and now proudly serve as Office Manager. I’ve been working alongside Sheri MacGregor since 2000, and I can honestly say that I enjoy my job more with each passing year.

Our customers feel like family to me, which made it incredibly special when we were honoured with the Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Award. That recognition reflects the heart of what we do.

Every day, I learn something new from our amazing audiologists, who generously share their knowledge. Their guidance has allowed me to perform small hearing aid repairs right at the front counter—something that brings me great satisfaction, knowing I can help someone hear better with just a simple fix.

Highland Hearing Clinic continues to grow, but one thing remains unchanged: our commitment to putting our customers first.

Audiologist

From early on, I knew I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Working as an audiologist at Highland Hearing Clinic has proven to be the perfect fit. I love being able to guide patients through their unique hearing journeys and help them find the solutions that will lead to the best possible outcomes.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mount Allison University, followed by a Master of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University. I joined Highland Hearing Clinic in May 2009 and have been proud to be part of such a dedicated, patient-focused team ever since.

I am licensed through the Nova Scotia College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NSCASLP) and am an active member of the Sounds+ network of private audiology practices.

Originally from New Glasgow, I now call Antigonish home. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family.

Clinic Administrator

I love working at Highland Hearing Clinic because I believe I can make a small, positive difference in our patients’ lives each and every day. Whether it’s through a helping hand, a friendly smile, or simply acknowledging someone’s presence, I aim to brighten someone’s day whenever I can.

Since beginning my journey with Highland Hearing in March 2013, the relationships I’ve built with our patients have been incredibly meaningful and rewarding. I truly value the exceptional level of customer service we provide and am proud to be part of such a compassionate and dedicated team.

Audiology Assistant

I've been proud to be part of Highland Hearing team since 2012. I chose to work at Highland Hearing because it’s a company that truly cares—not just about its clients, but also about its team. It’s a workplace that supports personal and professional growth in an industry that is always evolving, and I’m grateful to be part of it.

I was born and raised in Hartland, New Brunswick—home of the world’s longest covered bridge! After earning my Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University in 2007, I made the move to Antigonish County, where I now live with my husband Josh and our three sons: Rex, Will, and Finley.

I look forward to welcoming you to the clinic and helping make your visit a positive experience!
