We're excited to welcome four experienced hearing care professionals to our Dartmouth clinic: Gillian Bonang, Aimee Allen, Anna Leggat, and Wayne Dorey. Together they bring over 60 years of combined experience serving the Dartmouth community.
We'd love for you to meet them. Stop by our Baker Drive clinic anytime between January 12th and February 12th. No appointment is needed for Community Care Open House activities - just drop in.
What's Happening
- Free Hearing Aid Cleaning & Check: Wayne Dorey will be offering complimentary hearing aid cleanings and checks throughout the event. Just drop in - no appointment required, no charge.
- Coffee, Tea & Homemade Cookies: Stay for a visit. We'll have refreshments ready.
- Weekly Prize Draws: Enter to win prizes every week of the open house.
Please note: All open house activities are drop-in. Regular services such as comprehensive hearing assessments still require an appointment.
Meet the Team

Gillian Bonang, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Gillian is a proud Dartmouth-born audiologist who has been delivering exceptional hearing health care in her hometown for more than 17 years. As a bilingual audiologist, she supports both French- and English-speaking patients throughout their hearing journey. Outside the clinic, Gillian is a devoted wife to her musician husband and a proud sports mom.

Aimee Allen, M.Sc.
Audiologist
Aimee completed her Master of Science in Audiology at Dalhousie University in 2008 and has been serving the Dartmouth community for more than 15 years. She is dedicated to supporting patients throughout their journey to better hearing. Outside of work, Aimee enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, cooking, and gardening with her husband, their three children, and the family dog.

Wayne Dorey
Hearing Aid Technician
Wayne has dedicated over 45 years to helping people with hearing loss. He studied electronics at the Nova Scotia Institute of Technology and furthered his training in hearing aid technology at the Hearing Society in the United States. In his spare time, Wayne enjoys playing guitar with his band.

Anna Leggat
Clinic Administrator
Anna, a lifelong Dartmouth resident, has spent over 21 years as an administrator in the audiology field. She has a passion for helping others and believes that laughter is essential. In her spare time, Anna finds joy in gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and cats, and quiet moments by the waterfront with her husband, Normand.

Not for open house activities. Hearing aid cleanings, refreshments, and prize draws are all drop-in. Regular services still require an appointment.
Is the hearing aid cleaning really free?
Yes. There's no cost and no obligation.
Can I book a full hearing assessment while I'm there?
Yes. If you'd like to schedule a comprehensive hearing test, just ask.
